Summary0001484: Cluster Spots and Split Frequency Button and "Change Mode" Not Working Properly
DescriptionThe radio here is a Flex 3000, software is Power SDR v 2.6.4, running on Windows
7. The issue here is that whenever I click on a cluster spot be it on the same
band or another band when the command is excited it will always turn the radio
to split operation. Now this is great if the cluster spot has a QSX frequency as
both VFO A and VFO B will switch to the spotted frequency and the split function
is turned on. Now is there is nothing listed in the comments of the sport HRD
Logbook will only set VFO A, which is correct, but it also turns the split
button and one has to go back correct things. This will happen on each and every
cluster spot with anything listed in the comments section of the spot with the
exception of QSX. Now I found the by going into the Options tab on the cluster
screen and going to the selections tab there is an option to check "Use QSX on
frequency". With this checked the radio operates as stated above. Unchecking the
block and now only VFO A is changed and at least the split button is NOT
activated. Is there any way to get the best of both worlds? If the cluster spot
states QSX xxxx then the radio will switch BOTH VFO A and VFO B and turn on the
split function. In cases where anything but QSX is present then switch only VFO
A and do NOT turn on the split function. Also the "Change Modes on DX Spot" does
not work on the Flex as the mode is never changes to reflect the frequency
change.
Steps To ReproduceClick on a number of cluster spots using a Flex radio and see what happens when
each of the options are checked or unchecked in the DX Cluster Options /
Selection tab.
