Summary0002014: DM780 Repeat Timer with Winkeyer issues
DescriptionTicket#325097
Repeat timer resets upon completion of TX data being sent to Winkeyer via COM port while the actual CW transmission is still in progress with several characters left to send. This causes a very short "listen" period between transmissions unless the timer setting is artificially padded to a longer setting. The problem is magnified at slow CW speed settings of 15 wpm or less.

This began with V353/354. Previous versions reset the timer when the Winkeyer actually completed its transmission. I can still run a previous version of DM780 and all is ok. Winkey is V2.2 and COM is via a FTDI USB/RS232 adapter that I have been using for several years.

Can you duplicate this in v354?

This issue was originally reported on a trouble ticket in 2015. It's not of major severity as shown, but remains a minor annoyance. Has anyone ever looked at it?
