|Summary||0003168: FTDX-3000 Cont/APF 'Button' function in CW Mode|
|Description||In CW mode on the FT3000 the button works in 3 steps..starting with the rig Cont/APF activity light (located within the button) off, press once gives activity light on and active APF, press a second time gives activity light on and active Contour, press a third time the activity light off and both deactivated. A 3 stage cycle.|
When performing the same series of operations, in CW Mode, using the HRD Cont/APF button we get...
Press once gives activity light on; HRD Button shows active and active Contour, press a second time gives activity light off, HRD Button shows deactivated. A 2 stage cyle rather than 3.
So in reality it does not appear that you can actually activate the APF from HRD buttons.

Rig Control supports buttons that turn features off and on. There are two states: on and off.
This feature has three states: off, APF, and Contour. Rig control doesn't support that, so we end up with the behaviour this customer observes.
We need to do a bit of design work to add buttons to Rig Control that cycle through multiple states. Mantis 2989 tracks that work.
