|Summary||0003291: International date/time in HRD|
|Description||At the International DX convention a customer (K6FG) requested an enhancement where we could set the date to international format in HRD without having to change the Windows date format. He has done it using the Windows configuration, but it affects all his other programs where he wants the US format for dates.|

As "international format" doesn't mean anything specific -- different nations use different formats per their own custom -- I have to assume this request is actually asking for an arbitrary date format setting independent of the OS settings. Further, I'd assume that the same is wanted for time formatting.
The request is a pretty big undertaking -- about a week worth of work. I think we have bigger fish to fry.
Just noticed this was asking about all the apps, not just Logbook. At least week for Logbook, I think ... a week each for DM780 and Rig Control; then a week for all of Rotator and Satellite Tracker. Maybe a week to test, a week to pick up other places we didn't think of in little apps and logs and settings.
At least 6 weeks total effort, then.

Ticket 636762 doesn't mention "international format" like this Mantis issue does.
The ticket does say that the customer was told that we were working on an option to customize the date display. I haven't heard of such an effort -- perhaps one of the other developers has been tasked with that project without my knowledge.
