|Summary||0003311: UDP server requirement|
|Description||Request to have HRD have a UDP server like DX Commander? My amplifier gets the frequency via a UDP server. I tell DX Commander to send the signal to my amp's IP address and port, and my amp automatically tunes for that frequency. It uses Kenwood Frequency commands over UDP. I really would like this feature added and so would all the other RF-Kit amplifier owners who want to use HRD but have to use DX Commander instead.|

Not nearly enough to go on here. To consider the work, we'd need a specific description of what data the radio (amplifier? tuner?) wants to receive. Or, wants to request, if we're actually implementing a server.
To actually implement, we'd need access to the hardware in question, at least temporarily.
In the 2019-08-29 call, we figured we aren't getting many requests for this so we can't make it a priority.
