Summary0000506: Hell 80 bandwidth
DescriptionHell 80 spacing between tones is set at 500Hz in DM780. Other software (Fldigi, MultiPSK, original specs for Hell 80 machines) use a 300Hz spacing between tones. This causes problems for users of other software when trying to decode DM780-produced Hell 80, and some lesser trouble when trying to decode Hell 80 using DM780 when monitoring the transmissions from other software.
Steps To ReproduceSelect Hell 80 mode in DM780
Additional Informationhttp://www.nonstopsystems.com/radio/hellschreiber-modes-80.htm (note the specs at the bottom of the page. The tones from an actual Hell80 machine are at 1625Hz and 1925Hz (300Hz)).

http://f1ult.free.fr/DIGIMODES/MULTIPSK/hell80_en.htm (MultiPSK also uses 300Hz,and recommends 1625Hz and 1925Hz as the tones)

http://www.w1hkj.com/FldigiHelp-3.21/Modes/index.htm (Although listed here as 480Hz, Fldigi actually uses only 300Hz between the tones)

Build 779/780: Appears to have been resolved, at least at the receive side. Tuning bar is 300 htz wide. Probably needs a transmit test to be sure the transmitted signal is 300 htz.
